Is there a cheap way to fix lacquer peel?

Apart from a respray or wrap is there any cheaper option to resolve lacquer peel on a yellow car? Could you just respray the bonnet and one quarter instead of the whole car?

Yes, you can repaint separate panels or sections, but the rear quarter will be a more specialised job as the colour match will need to be blended. Paler yellows are harder to match than darker ones but a good bodyshop should be able to do this for you.
