What comfortable SUV for long journeys do you recommend?

What used small/medium SUV can I buy for long journeys including motorways which is refined and comfortable, up to £20,000. Only petrol or diesel please, not electric.

On that budget, we'd recommend the Skoda Karoq. It's available with a wide range of engines, of which we'd suggest the 2.0-litre TDI diesel, especially if you're clocking a lot of miles. That said, the 1.5-litre petrol engine isn't far off in terms of fuel economy and is very refined.
