Claim entitlement

We bought a BMW X5 from a car dealer, things started going wrong with it very early on.

We discovered after investigation it was clocked and was not the car we thought we were buying. We won the criminal case against the car dealer and are now seeking compensation. What exactly are we entitled to claim for? Can we claim for all the taxis we have had to use for our childrens school runs, dance classes etc that we would not have had to pay for if we had our car?

You can claim for 'reasonable' losses up to £5,000 on the Small Claims track of the County Court, but what you describe are not 'reasonable' losses. Bear in mind that even if you get a successful judgement, enforcing it will be another matter entirely.
