Can I park my car on the public road when it is SORN?

Is there a restriction to where you can store your car after a SORN declaration? For example does it have to be on private property like driveway or garage or can it be parked on public street if my house doesn't have driveway or garage?

If your car is declared SORN it must be kept off the public road. It is illegal to drive or park a SORNed vehicle on the road, unless you are taking it to a pre-booked MoT test.

I have a 1953 Ford Popular which has been off the road since 1995 on a SORN. I have moved in that time and only have the V5 not the V5C. It has my old address on so how do I go about retaxing the car?
Official advice is to place the French Crit'Air sticker on the right side of vehicle windscreen but for most UK cars this will impinge more than 40mm into zone B and won't that therefore be an MoT failure?
