What's the best petrol hybrid with room for five passengers?

I travel to Spain 3 times a year and am looking for a petrol hybrid (not plug in) with good boot space for 5 passengers any suggestions please

Take a look at the new Nissan X-Trail. It's a very comfortable and versatile SUV, available with a clever hybrid powertrain that combines a turbocharged petrol engine with an electric motor (or two). There's no direct link between the engine and the wheels, so it's very efficient and very refined (while there's no need to plug it in). Also consider the slightly smaller Toyota RAV4.
