Should I buy a high mileage Citroen C3?

I live in France and I am considering a 2016 Citroen C3 68hp petrol for a young driver. It has a full service history, one owner and recent cam belt change. However, it has done 83,000 miles. My wife says it’s too high mileage whereas I was thinking that it has been well cared for and always run up to temperature. What do you think?

I'd consider this to be average mileage for a six or seven year old car. As long as it's serviced and maintained properly (with a yearly oil and filter change), there's no reason why it shouldn't give you another 100,000 miles.
