Will we get the new diesel Kia Sportage in the UK?

Are we likely to get the latest new diesel Kia Sportage here in the UK?

There was originally meant to be a diesel version of the Sportage offered in the UK. However it's currently not on the configurator because Kia (like many brands) has been suffering from chip shortage production issues, meaning the variants offered on new builds is limited. This may not be resolved for some time - for example, the Kia Ceed is only currently offered in one grade with one engine and a manual gearbox.
