What are the service intervals for the Sym Symphony 125 bike?

I've been comparing Sym Symphony and Lexmoto Aura but I'm worried about the very short service intervals some customers are complaining about. Some have suggested it's 1000km on the Sym. Is this true?

On Sym's site the service intervals are listed. The first service is very short (at 300 miles or six months) but then after that the interval increases to every 3,000 miles or six months, whichever comes first. On the Lexmoto the first service is 500 miles or four months, whichever comes first, but that increases to 1000 miles or eight months after that.
