My 2003-plate Vauxhall Astra 1.7DTi won't crank over

I bought a Vauxhall Astra 1.7DTi 2003-plate last week. It was working fine, then today turned the engine off and tried to start it and it cranked over for about a second. It didn't start. Then tried again and it wouldn't crank over at all.

The service light was on when I got it and I never had a chance to get it serviced.

What should I do?

Get it serviced. Explain your problem to the garage.
