Would like to buy a Q5, but the dealer says there are no deals to be had because of high demand
The Audi dealer says he could give us 10% off any other model, but not the Q5 as they are in such high demand - do you think this is true? The delivery time is five months. We have considered going through drive the deal, but are nervous about them being able to get a Q5 if the dealers are struggling. What would you recommend?

Yes. Audi does not have to give any money off anything because it can already sell all of its models in Europe, Russia and China for considerably more than it can get for them in the UK. What we're finding now is when UK customers get a discount on an order for a VAG car, even if it is a special offer, they may have to wait 6 months - 12 months for the car. Blame the devaluation of Sterling.
