Which small electric car do you recommend?

My sister-in-law would like to buy a small to medium new electric car. Her use would be mostly local as she cannot drive long distances because of a medical condition. She lives in a village where some of the roads are narrow.

We'd recommend a Peugeot e-208 or Vauxhall Corsa-e. They're two excellent little electric cars that are easy to drive and cheap to run. A Smart Fortwo could be a good alternative (particularly if your sister-in-law doesn't need rear seats or a big boot), while the MINI Electric is a slightly more upmarket choice.
