How do I clean the Saharan dust off my new Maserati?

I am the proud owner of a sparkly-painted 12 day old Maserati. It has a ceramic coating so how worried do I need to be about the Saharan dust on the paintwork?

We would recommend doing as much as possible to get the dust off prior to washing with a sponge or mitt, as those will drag the dust across the paintwork and could mark it. The ceramic coating won't be an issue and should make it easier to remove, but spray a universal car cleaning spray (such as Meguiars) across the paint, leave for a couple of minutes and hose or jet wash off to remove the worst of the dust.
