Santa Fe with only a two-year warranty

I have just signed a credit agreement for an 09-plate Hyundai Santa Fe. During the process I noticed on the website that it said remainder manufacturer's warranty.

When I asked about this, just before I signed, he went and got his manager who informed me that they only have a two-year warranty on this car because it had come from Ireland, and negotiated a deal for me to buy a £495 two year warranty from them, which I got for £100.

Now I have looked on all Hyundai's sites and it clearly says that they give you a five year warranty. What's going on?

What is going on is you have bought a non UK car not covered by the UK 5-year warranty. It is only covered by the two-year Irish warranty.
