I have received a parking fine from TCP for £75

I have received a parking fine for £75, reduced to £50 if paid promptly for overstaying my limit in a retail park. I have read numerous posts regarding this stating to ignore the letter. Are you aware of any technicalities with TPS as I really could do without all this at the moment. The two hours was exceeded by 34 mins, so not sure if I should send a settlement offer but not sure of the wording.
