VW Passat: water Ingress, sunroof drains blocked

My Volkswagen Passat (2002) has water inside the boot on the left and right hand sides in a recess built into the floor where the jack and tools are stored. I suspect the rear sunroof drain has come off and now drains inside the car.

An American website - http://wateringresssettlement.com - talks about the possibility of taking your VW into the dealer whereupon Volkswagen will inspect, clean (if necessary) and modify the sunroof drain system on certain vehicles under Service Action 60A7/S9

My question is there an equivalent available in the UK?

Not heard of this. But would not apply for an 8 year old car anyway. Most water ingress to B5 and B6 Passats is from the bulkhead vent well. But in your case it could also be the boot seal.
