Can you recommend a cheap way to clean fogged headlamps?

Is there a DIY way of restoring fogged headlamp lenses?

It's worth trying to restore your fogged/cloudy headlamps with a really simple home method: toothpaste (ideally one that contains baking soda), a soft cloth and a bit of elbow grease. If scrubbing with toothpaste doesn't work, there are a number of DIY headlight restoration kits that can be purchased online or in motor factors such as Halfords.
