Kitch and shrink drama

For many years I have owned and driven 4x4s: RangeRovers, Shoguns etc. For many reasons I am now considering to a smaller car. I have always fancied a MINI Cooper. However friends say I will find the difference quite dramatic and may have problems adjusting. Any thoughts please?

Be like moving from Norway to Indonesia. Yes. Huge culture shock. Other drivers will no longer get out of your way or be intimidated by your vehicle. So the best advice is to try to hire one for extended acquaintance before you make your decision.
