Bumpy car

Living at the end of a 3-mile rough track I need a decently built motor.
I’m looking at the L200/Rodeo/Ranger/Hilux/Navara and have around £12k to spend. What do you reckon would be the best buy? And are there any Motorpoint type nearly-new dealers. Also are do you know of any auctions that sell pickups?

www.holdcroft.com had new Navaras from a bankrupted Irish
distributor, from £12,995 + VAT for an Outlaw King Cab. If buying used, the latest Mitsubishi L200 has the toughest chassis, while
the Isuzu Rodeo has the best engine, called the I-TEQ. We've got a couple of the latter in Thailand, both returning 36 - 40mpg.BCA includes pick-ups in its LCV auctions (www.british-car-auctions.co.uk) and there is a big 4WD auction every month in Leominster (www.brightwells.com)
Dear Honest John,
