FIAT Treicento

Quick question for you - hope you don't mind. We've been offered a 2002 Fiat Cinquecento for our 17-year-old daughter. The car has done 300 miles from new (really) and is owned by an 86 year old gentleman who doesn't really drive. He has no idea what it's worth, just wants it gone. What would you consider to be a fair offer for it? Tell me to bugger off if I'm being cheeky to ask.

This will be virtually unique. But the low mileage is of no value to you unless it reflects the general condition of the car. If it's a minter, and a 1.1, then maybe £1,500. Make sure the petrol tank hasn't rusted and sprung a leak. Though the 1.1 FIRE engine is non-interference, it would be wise to replace the timing belt.
