Runflatulence

Am I correct in assuming that the runflat tyres you refer to are on BMWs, or are they readily available on all so-called ‘quality’ cars.

Runflats require a tyre pressure monitoring system in the car, either as original or retro-fit, to warn the driver if they suffer a puncture. But any car with TPMS can run runflats. And Runflat 3s, arriving this autumn do not depend on stiff sidewalls to run flat, so offer as comfortable a ride as a non-runflat tyre when running normally.
