Should I replace my Michelin tyres or are they a good investment?

I need to buy new tyres soon. The tyres fitted are Michelin Energy but Michelin seem pricey on the sites I have researched so far. I intend to keep the car for the foreseeable future - are they a good investment or are there other recommendations? Your thoughts would be appreciated.

It really depends on where you live. Michelin Eneergy Savers are summer tyres but all-season tyres might be a better bet if you already (or plan to) swap from summer to winter tyres every year. If you do, then our recommendations would be the Continental AllSeasonContact. Michelin CrossClimate+ are also good. Both are more of a summer tyre with good all-season performance. For summer tyres, it really depends on what you want (performance, handling, less noise etc). For example, Goodyear Efficientgrip Performance 2 and Michelin Primacy 4 are both quiet summer tyres. The best thing to do is enter your reg (or manually enter the tyre specs you want) into a tyre retailer's site (like Kwik Fit) and see which tyres would best suit you for your budget. We rate Michelin well, and they're a good investment, but there might be cheaper tyres that'll do the job you want.
