More doors

I’m struggling to get any enthusiasm over my next car, can you help? My current car is a BMW 330CD M-Sport, two-door coupe, which is nearly five years old. The car has been brilliant, but it has only 2 doors and a very firm ride, which my wife dislikes. Having two young Granddaughters I need a 4-door car that is fun to drive with performance to equal or better than my present car, whilst giving a comfortable ride. I have up to £25,000 plus my car, which I believe may fetch about £11,000. Your choice can be any car up to 6months old if that helps. Look forward to your reply with interest.

You can just about stretch to the Business Edition of the new BMW F10 530D at £37,660, which has more comfortable tyres. See: . However, if you can get hold of an ex demo Jaguar XF 3.D 275, that is even better to drive:
