What should I check when buying a second-hand Honda Jazz?

I'm thinking of buying a second-hand automatic Honda Jazz. What do I need to be aware of?

Be careful - the Honda Jazz was briefly sold (between 2008 and early 2011) with the i-Shift automated manual gearbox which wasn't as good as the CVT auto which replaced it. I'd recommend looking at an older or newer model with the CVT transmission. Other than that, the Honda Jazz is generally a very reliable second-hand car. Can you help me choose? I would like a medium size car, top priority is reliability but would like a good size boot 370+ltr, automatic and comfortable seats as I have a bad leg. Around £19k.

Neatly styled. Increased room and better performance than original Jazz. better to drive. Very versatile. CVT-7 returned in February 2011 replacing i-SHIFT. More reliable than first generation Jazz.
