I bought a Hyundai i10 on 1st November 2008 and the dealer assured me it had the new Kappa engine. Is there any easy way to identify the new engine? I have seen pictures on the Net and I must say there seem to be some marked differences.

The Kappa is chain cam and the cc on your V5C will be 1,248cc. The 1.1 is belt cam and 1,086cc on the V5C.
