Plain misty for me

We too have always had a problem with misting on the windscreen of our 2002 Honda Jazz in damp conditions. We choose the correct setting for the windscreen with airflow on 2 (outside). We constantly have to put the Air Conditioning on (with heating in the cold weather) to clear the screen, or sometimes leave it on altogether. I wonder how many other Jazz owners have this problem. We have not encountered such a problem with other makes of car.

There seems to be a problem of leaking seals to the rear doors, resulting in saturated rear footwell underfelt, and that is where the condensation moisture comes from. It might have plastic waterproof membranes inside the rear doors and these have split, as used to happen to VW Golf Mk IIs. Poor ventilation id caused by a choked or sodden pollen filter, so that also needs to be changed.
