Door mirrors on new Ford Fiesta Zetec
My wife's new Ford Fiesta 1.25 Zetec is fitted with a plane driver's door mirror and a convex passenger door mirror. The agent (Perrys)and Ford Customer Care Centre explain that this is because it has been built for the European market. However for the UK and particularly driving on our busy motorways this becomes a safety issue. Ford have told me that I can have a convex mirror fitted to the drivers side but of course at my expense.
I have checked the published specification and the type of mirror is not stated. Is there anything further I can do or just swallow my pride and pay for a new convex mirror.

Check and see if Halfords have a convex mirror that will stick over the flat mirror.
