How important is it for all four tyres to be exactly the same? I have a Jaguar XE (2019 model year).

With 4WD, all have to be the same and within 3mm tread depth of each other. Otherwise, best to keep them the same on the same 'axle'. Unless the car is originally set up for different size wheels front to back, altering the wheel/tyre size can affect the TPMS and the ESP.
