What automatic car do you recommend for a retired couple?

We would like to replace our Skoda Yeti with a second-hand automatic car that is easy to get into. Having never had an automatic and heard horror stories about some automatic gearboxes what recommendations do you have?

Go for a Kia or Hyundai with a dual-clutch transmission, or a Honda with a CVT. A Honda Jazz is very easy to get into and very reliable. If you'd prefer a crossover SUV, consider a Suzuki Vitara or Honda HR-V.
