Snow Socks

I would very much appreciate your opinion on Snow Socks, particularly in relation to a Honda CR-V on the rear wheels in snow and ice.

A CR-V is basically front wheel drive so you would need to put them on the front. How they work is by picking up snow to give traction against soft snow. They can only be used on soft snow, not on ice, on hard packed snow or on cleared roads.
