What's a good car with light steering and soft suspension?

I suffer from arthritis in the hands and wrists and am looking for a new car with light steering and soft suspension. I have 18-inch wheels at present and this is harsh. As it is a shared car it would have to be manual so a light clutch and gearbox would be a bonus. My budget is £15k

Have a look at the Citroen C3. It's a small hatchback that refreshingly focuses on comfort rather than sportiness. Alternatively, your budget might stretch to a C3 Aircross. This offers more practicality and a slightly higher ride height, making getting in and out easier.
