T Spirit 1.33 VVT-i 5dr Hatchback

BEST ALL ROUND CAR I HAVE OWNED

Bought this car new as one of the last MK 11 s off the production line . The best things about this car are the incredible use of space in such a small body ,the sliding rear set that is bizarrely absent in the MK 111 , the amazing turning circle that could almost beat a london cab. The car does tend to lean a bit when cornering so is not quite up there with the fiesta on this score. I think the engine and gearbox in this car is excellent and good use of the 6 speed box can reward with pretty good acceleration from the 101BHP unit. Owned for 4 years now and the only problem has been a new steering lock and reverse bleeper wiring loom all fixed under warranty. This is an excellent all round car for somebody who wants reliable transport. 30 pounds road tax and very rarely drops below 40mpg even on short tips in winter ,on a run easy to get 50-55 mpg why would anybody want a diesel with all their emission problems
