Economical long haul, not so for short trips

Bought at £11k with 11,000 miles, it seemed like a lot of car for the money - big (three six-footers will be comfy in the back), heated leather seats all round, rear camera. We've done 25,000 miles since and nothing has gone wrong.

Not a rocket by any means, and more road noise than I'd like. If you want a "fun drive" you'd be better off with a Fiesta.

Driven to and from my wife's work, a 12 mile round trip, it returns 44mpg, on long motorway or A road runs I get the advertised 60mpg, and even 45mpg towing a small folding caravan. Guess it's driving styles. £30 road tax is nice.

Most annoying feature - the Bluetooth phone option on the central screen is literally useless, even with the microphone turned up full no one on the other end of the call can hear me. Doesn't even work when its not moving!

But overall it does what I want and I think in 25,000 miles we've had two new front tyres (18 inch low profile alloys so watch those kerbs) and one rear wiper blade, outside of the recommended replacements (filters, fluids) at service time.
