Overall reliability

Better than a mini hatch for practicality but increased weight means performance takes a hit.

Good points: Interior is high quality and reasonably spacious, particularly good space in back seat for a car this size. Steptronic semi-automatic gearbox makes city driving more relaxed but allows manual control if you want it which can be good fun out of town.

Ok points: Driving experience is ok, steering and roadholding great but the 3 cylinder 1.5l engine doesn’t give straight-line performance to match the handling.

Bad points: Difficult to get in/out of in a tight car park. Width of car is not the full story, it seems to be the thickness of the doors that leaves you very little space to squeeze in/out if there is a car parked next to you. It is quite heavy for a mini and the extra weight really makes itself apparent iof you try to accelerate uphill.
