Skoda drivers 'among the most satisfied'

Fri, 12 Jun 2009
People considering buying a car in the coming months may be tempted to pay a visit to their local Skoda dealership after hearing about the manufacturer's latest achievement.

The company has been named one of the top five firms in the JD Power & Associates Vehicle Ownership Satisfaction Survey.

In addition to this, the Octavia drove away with the title of Best Small Family Car for the third year in a row.

Robert Hazelwood, director of the manufacturer's UK division, said he believed the launch of the Yeti in September would result in a whole new group of satisfied customers.

Commenting on the survey, he stated: "This result is impartial confirmation that Skoda continues to offer great quality products and excellent value for money."

Meanwhile, motorists looking to trade in an old banger may be pleased to hear the company has signed up to the government's scrappage scheme and is offering a minimum discount of £2,500 across its range.
