2000 MR2 1800cc vvi - wildgoose
any ideas about a manual for this car Haynes dont produce one.The toyota site is very expensive for an amateur to use. Is the new" MR2 sufficiently out of the Yaris to make that the manual of choice?

I presume you mean a workshop manual, i'd be suprised if the yaris and the MR2 share 1% of parts and in which case you would be better off using a copy of War and Peace as the workshop book!

If it's engine stuff your after the current celica is the only other model that uses the same 1800 VVTi engine and gearbox although i'm not sure if there is a manual for that either.

There isn't much room around the MR2 engine bay and so even usually simple jobs can be difficult and long winded, even basic jobs can result in having to drop the engine.
