Ferrari's Approved Used Scheme

Scheme name: Approved by Ferrari

Warranty period: 24 months warranty whoch covers the cost of numerous spare parts and cost of work of the principal repair works. Excluded are parts included in ordinary assistance, such as tyres, brake pads and disks, or parts, which have to be exchanged due to normal wear.

Age of cars covered: Up to nine years old. To be eligible, cars must be able to qualify for a 12 month Ferrari warranty to be applied (i.e. up to 9 years from the date of first registration)', must have covered less than 56,000 miles (90,000km) must not have been modified or fitted with non-approved equipment, must pass the 190 point technical inspection, must pass the Provenance and Identity Verification.

History check? Verification the car is not subject to any outstanding finance agreement and a Ferrari Service History Check to verify the car has been appropriately maintained by Ferrari.

Inspection? The inspection involves no less than 190 different checks covering everything from the running gear to the electrical systems, bodywork and interior. It concludes with a test-drive by a professional driver. Any defects that emerge will be repaired using original Ferrari spares only, to ensure that the car fully complies with Maranello's extremely strict safety, performance and reliability standards too.

Breakdown cover: Two years which includes breakdown assistance in any location, travel and accommodation costs and transport to an official Ferrari dealership and where possible a replacement rental car for the duration of the repairs
