Honda CR-V - which diesel?

I'm looking at buying an SUV with AWD as we often travel down muddy, sometimes flooded, roads that have left me stuck before now. I've been looking for ages and narrowed it down to the CR-V due to many factors - reliability being a main one. I'm looking at spending around £9k. I have a choice between the a newer 2012 DTEC diesel with the ES spec and 95k miles with FSH from a Honda dealer who are selling it 'out back' as a clearance, or the slightly older 2009 CTDI diesel with the EX spec and 67k miles, also FSH from an independent, which has many more options (though I'm not a big fan of leather seats). I'm wondering if it is worth sacrificing those extras for the revised model, the DTEC diesel engine and from a genuine Honda dealer, despite the higher mileage - would you say it was worth it? Thanks, Matt

Get the older 2.2iCTDI because it does not have a DPF which, though not a problem on 2.2iDTECs, could potentially cost you £2,000 to replace.
