Are Toyota RAV4s reliable?

I am thinking of buying a 2008 Toyota RAV4 with the 2.2 D-CAT engine. I've found a manual version with 113,000 miles on the clock with a full service history. How is this car and engine?

In this model of RAV4, all the diesel engines are chain cam and all have diesel particulate filters whether identified as having them by the name or not. The 2.2s had two different power outputs: 140PS and 180PS. But you don't need to worry about that. The torque output is more important.
