Range Rover Evoque - what's the best all season tyre?

I recently bought a new Range Rover Evoque, a car that I am really enjoying.
It comes as standard with 19-inch Pirelli All Seasons tyres. Are these any good in the snow and ice?

I do have a spare set of winter wheels with Falken winter tyres, but I'm wondering if its worth fitting them or will the all seasons tyres see me through the cold months here in north east Scotland?

Are they Pirelli Scorpion? (There are about 6 different types of Scorpion as well as full winter Pirelli Sotto Zeros.) But in any case they should be okay except in the most extreme conditions where full cold weather tyres will work better.
