Is the Avensis any good?

I know you like the Ford Mondeo/Estate... but I can get hold of a Toyota Avensis 2.2 D-CAT T4 5dr Auto for a lot less plus I get a longer warranty. I do a lot of miles. Thoughts?

Not very good. The 1.8i Valvematic Multidrive S is much smoother, much better to drive and almost as economical.
