How can I avoid reflections of the dashboard in the windscreen?

I have just bought a new Honda Jazz Hatchback 1.4 i-VTEC EX CVT. I'm very pleased with the car and its performance, but there is one drawback caused by the rake or angle of the front windscreen. When the sun is directly in front of the car the windscreen acts as a prism, and the reflection of the dashboard is visible in the windscreen. This can be quite disconcerting, especially when overhead trees vary the sunlight and shade. Do you have any suggestions to alleviate this problem?

The answer is mind over matter. Instead of looking for the reflection, ignore it entirely and concentrate on what you are looking at through the screen. That will avoid the distraction of reflection in all but the worst situations.
