Reliability of a Ford Focus 1.6 and 2.0 tdci

I will soon buy a Ford Focus 1.6 or 2.0 TDCi, even though I drive only about 15,000 km/year.

Which of these engines is more reliable? I'm thinking about problems with DPF, DMF, turbo, ...

Or should I consider a Volvo V40 D2 instead?

If you mean a new one, no problems with the 1.6TDCI 115 so far. The 2.0 TDCI was always fairly reliable: more so then VAG 2.0TDIs. Volvo V40s have the same engines.
