Buying a hybrid. Which one?

I would like to buy a new Hybrid. Should it be a Jazz, Insight or Prius? When will the plug in Prius be on sale and is it worth the wait? Space is not important. The Honda CRZ is a non starter as it's manual only. Thanks.

Plug in Prius next year along with the Chevrolet Volt and Vauxhall Ampera.

Ampera tested here: www.honestjohn.co.uk/road-tests/vauxhall/vauxhall-.../

I'd also take a look at the Auris HSD. My dad liked it so much he had me get one for him: www.honestjohn.co.uk/road-tests/toyota/toyota-auri.../
