When's the Lexus IS due a replacement?

I'm hoping someone can shed a bit of light on whether you have heard when the Lexus IS is due for a replacement. I've read rumours on a couple of sites stating that they replace current models every 6 years or so, which would mean imminently as the IS first hit the UK back in October 05.

I'm in the market for a second hand IS250's, but, needless to say, I don't want to buy now and lose out, because the second hand value of the old model plummets. I've spoken to my local dealer, who says, it's not due for replacement until 2013/14, which is hardly surprising as they want to sell me one of their current stock.

I think the dealer is right. But an IS250 must be automatic. Then it's silky smooth. The engine does not suit a manual box.
