ESP light flashing

My esp (skid) light has come on, the esp button does not appear to do anything but I hadn't noticed that before the light came on.

Not sure what the button is supposed to do as the manual is terribly written.
My car is four years old and has full VW service history, 07 plate 1.9tdi 82,000k.

On your site I see it's a common fault.
I have emailed customer services but not heard back.
I have not yet rung the garage as the car has not been serviced with them but with previous owner miles away.

What should I do now?

It will have the standard pressure sensor fault. If VW will not fix it for sensible money, then use www.ecutesting.co.uk
