Are there advantages to having oil fed cam belts?

Wet belt systems were introduced to reduce the weight of components, reduce the engine size, maximise efficiency and meet emissions targets. However wet belt systems need to have regular oil changes. Sometimes parts of the belt have been know to break resulting in the oil passage ways becoming blocked and the engine being damaged.
