Should I buy a Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV?

I am thinking of buying a Mitsubishi PHEV but have heard a rumour that Mitsubishi is pulling out of the UK. Should I worry and, if so, what alternative do you suggest that will tow a 1600kg caravan?

Mitsubishi stopped selling new cars in the UK in 2021: www.honestjohn.co.uk/news/car-market-1/2020-07/mit.../

The aftersales business is now managed by IM Group, which is the official UK importer for Suzuki and Isuzu. Parts and servicing shouldn't be an issue but it might affect the resale price of an Outlander PHEV in the future. You might be better sticking with diesel power for towing a 1600kg caravan, anyway – a Skoda Karoq could be a good alternative.
