Electric plug

Why is it when talking Electric Vehicles so few people consider the Citroen Berlingo Electrique? This is a really good practical vehicle with relatively high performance – a genuine 60 mph and 500 kg payload. OK, Citroen launched it a bit early, back in 1998 and have now ceased production, but there are good lightly used examples out there for sensible money (£6,000-£7,000). We have five in stock. It's a white van, of course, but you can fit rear seats and windows for about a grand, which makes a first-rate 5 seater estate, ideal for families and businesses in stop-start London traffic.

I drove one back in 1998, and what you say makes sense. No condensation and pollution on start-up. Perfect for short run use. It’s a shameless plug, but DRIVELECTRIC Ltd can be contacted on 01473 327411. The Renault Kangoo ZE (Zero Emission) electric van arrives in the UK next year and has a range of 100 miles.
