  Could someone please advise whether the 1.6 115 bhp engine as fitted to the Focus is actually derived from the Yamaha designed 16v engine or from Ford`s own Duatec design.?

  My wife drives a ford fiesta 1.8 diesel on an S plate 1998. It's started to lose water and there is a slight oil leak on the head. Obviously the gasket is on it's way out! I would like to have a go at changing the gasket.

  On closer inspection the tray at the bottom of the engine bay is covered in stained oil. Think I might have bought a lemon. Looking for advice as in previous threads re new Consumer Law 2015 its says you can hand back within 30 days. Mechanic says that it would require new turbo as it might last 5000 or 25000 miles. Advice etc would be gratefully appreciated.

  I notice that ebay have Vauxhall parts cd,s. Some Ford and some Vauxhall technical cd,s. I would like to purchase these parts but I have never dealt with them before. What worries me is giving out my card details. The items are not of great value so I don,t really worry about them.

  hi there, over the last couple of months i have been getting this quite loud knocking noise from the n/s front suspension, it seems 2 happen on uneven ground and uneven road camber but nothing on a flat tarmac road. when i 1st got the noise i was told it was the top suspension mount i changed this 2 no affect, then told wishbone, new 1 fitted and i still have the noise.... i am now thinking is it the shock absorber??
