  • Review: Coleman Twist+ 300 lantern (productReview)
The lowest brightness setting will easily light up a small tent, while the highest setting is sufficient for illuminating a large outdoor dining table. There is also a flashing light setting, which is handy for the car in the event of a breakdown. Coleman claims that the Twist+ 300 has a maximum beam distance of eight metres, and we have no reason to question this, given the impressive light output of the lantern.
  • Review: The Road Bike Manual smartphone app (productReview)
You might associate Haynes with its comprehensive car repair manuals, but it’s been branching out in recent years. From guides to the Millennium Falcon to a Build Your Own V8 Engine , Haynes caters for a much wider market than those wanting to take their car to bits (and put it back together again).
  • Review: Ring High Power Micro Jump Starter (productReview)
It feels a well made and high-quality product, which helps justify the price, but it's the small things that are the most useful - for example, the jump starter port has a rubber cover to keep dirt out, while the two USB ports are really handy if you need to charge your phone but don't have a spare 12v socket in the car. Of course, the real test comes when you actually need to jump-start a car. We tested the RPPL300 over several months, fully charging it and then leaving it in our car, just as we imagine many people will, for three months.
  • Review: Scalextric ARC One American Classics (productReview)
Modern Scalextric cars are lighter than before, which means better performance. But to help keep them on the track, there's a magnetic system called Magnatraction by Scalextric. It essentially keeps the rear of the car stuck to the road so you can take corners faster.
  • Review: Meaco DD8L Zambezi Dehumidifier (productReview)
That's reason enough to want to control the humidity of the air in your home, office etc. And for those with a car they want to protect during colder months, there's even more reason to buy a dehumidifier like the Meaco Zambezi. The DD8L Zambezi is arguably the most feature-packed, advanced desiccant dehumidifier around.
